Hey, hey friend!

The last few days have been hectic, but I still managed to publish a new blog post yesterday for you guys. So, go ahead and give it a read! I really hope you guys enjoy it. I’ll admit, I had a hard time figuring out what I wanted to write about, but as soon as the idea popped into my head, smooth sailing! ⛵

Also, a new podcast episode should be dropping very soon. So, keep your eyes peeled for that.

HAPPY NATIONAL WOMEN’S HISTORY MONTH…

and

HAPPY READING MONTH!!!!

Since work is a little hectic and I’m tired AF, I’m going to combine the two holidays and read books written by Black queer women. The first book will be Angela Davis’s book Angela Davis: An Autobiography. I bought this book sometime last year, and it’s been sitting in my Kindle library collecting digital dust. So, I thought it would be a good read for this month. Also, I need to stop buying books and not reading them.

The second book I’ve decided to read is all about love by Bell Hooks. Now, I did try to read this one a couple weeks ago, but I just couldn’t focus on it. As I said earlier, things have been hectic , which is probably why I had a hard time reading it. So, I got the audiobook to see if this format would work better. I’ll definitely let y’all know how it goes.

If you’re curious to see what I’ve read so far or what I think of the books I’ve read, follow me on StoryGraph, the independent, fully featured, and Amazon-free alternative to Goodreads. Oh! And it’s Black-owned. ✊🏽🖤

That’s all for now. Until next time … peace, love, and happiness! ☮️🩷😄
