Question: How gay are you?

Hey friend!

I know what you’re thinking. Who asks that question? Well, I think I’ve been asked this at least once. So, how gay are you? Need a scale for reference? Maybe you could use the Kinsey Scale to figure out just how gay you are under the Say Word? segment. Go ahead and give it a read HERE.

Say Word? segment??? What’s that?

I’m sure at some point you or someone else has shared some information with a friend or an acquaintance, and they’re response was, “Say word?!” It’s another way to say “really” or “no way” when someone drops some knowledge on you that you didn’t know before.

Say Word? is a segment of the The Black Quirky Queer Blog that focuses on providing resources, information, and tips to the Black LGBTQ+ community. Of course, non-Black LGBTQ+ peeps can use these tips and resources as well. I do my best to thoroughly research and provide sources to 1) show I care, 2) my trustworthiness because I don’t want anyone thinking I’m blowing up up their you-know-what, and 3) give people a place to start their own search if they feel so inclined.
