Whoa, girl!

A New CHRONICLES Post

Hey friend!

My gosh! It’s been a long, long time since I’ve published a blog post. I know you guys were waiting. Sorry about that! Per usual, life was throwing curveballs at me, but I still succeeded. So, pretty please take a moment to read the first blog post from my hiatus. Please like, comment, and share it with others as well. I’d really appreciate.

For next week …

Thanksgiving holiday is coming up! For those of you who celebrate, I hope you have a good holiday. For those of you who do not celebrate, I’m right there with you. I was going to celebrate with my relatives and do the whole thing this year, but I’ve decided against it for several reasons. Instead, I’ll just chill with my mom and spend some quality time with her.

With that said, you won’t see much of me next week or get a blog post out of me. I’m dedicating that time to my mother and family, who need it more than ever right now. I hope you guys understand, and I appreciate you. 🖤

Happy Turkey Day and Happy Native American Heritage Day (celebrated November 28th)!

Another thing …

I know I said that the first podcast episode would publish on the 18th of this month, but that didn’t make much sense. So, I’m publishing it on the first Tuesday of December, which is the 2nd. And if you haven’t listened to the intro episode, you can listen to it here 👇🏽👇🏽👇🏽

Of course, you can use the closed captions on YouTube if you need them, but I do have an accurate transcript available on the blog that you can view. Just go to the blog and check out the podcast tab where you can listen and read along.

If you have any comments, suggestions, concerns, or anything of the sort, let me know! You can either reply to this email or reach out via the contact page on the blog. I’d love to hear from you guys!

If you have any topics you’re interested in or feel doesn’t get enough attention, I’d like to know that, too. I’m only one person and can only do but so much. I want to use this digital media platform to highlight the Black LGBTQ+ community and individuals that don’t get enough attention or what they need. So, if you know something I don’t, tell me. If you see something that deserves a spotlight, tell me. The whole point of The Black Quirky Queer is to increase our visibility.

That’s all I have for you guys at the moment. Until next time … peace, love, and happiness! ☮️🩷😄
